Italian Tour: Visiting Rome (pt. 2)

As promised, here is the second part of my little stay in Rome. Throwing a bunch of pictures into one post isn’t my thing so I prefer to let you appreciate things in their own time. In my previous post I was talking about hidden restaurants and I think this pizzeria near the Piazza Navona is one of them. No fuss, simple outward appearance, but delicious, authentic and very thin pizzas. The Colosseum was impressive and St. Peter’s Basilica stunning. Rome also lets you discover the forums while a more recent spot like Campo di Fiori offers you italian specialties such as pasta, spice, etc…

Italian Tour: Visiting Rome (pt. 1)

I think Rome was my favorite part about this trip. I had been before for an afternoon (yay transit flights!), and had been longing for a comeback ever since. What I like the most about Rome is the streets I guess. Some hide seriously impressive gems in terms of restaurants and architecture while others lead to an incredible view of the whole city. Very touristic spots like the Trevi fountain didn’t impress me much but the beautiful gardens of the Villa Borghese for instance did.
