Five New Books On My Shelves

New Books

When you’re a book lover, I assure you that it is not odd to put books on your birthday wishlist. I myself love gifting people with beautiful books. This year was no exception; I’ve got some pretty additions ready to stand on my shelves and here they are:

The Rosie Effect

This is the sequel to The Rosie Project (review coming soon!) and without telling too much about what I think of it, I’m excited to get to read more about Don and Rosie’s story. I’ve just started it so we’ll see how this one goes and how it compares to its prequel.

The Life Changing Magic Of Tidying

I’ve wanted this book since this Summer before anyone started babbling about it and I will finally be able to satisfy my curiosity. I don’t think I’ll adhere to everything that’s in there but if I can collect a few tips, I’m all in!

Lean In

This was on my book wishlist for so long. In fact, it was one of the 5 non-fiction books I want to read, and I think it can be such an empowering read and I can’t wait because we need this kind of books to feel like we can achieve great things.

Why not me?

Even though I was a bit conflicted after reading her first book, I am so eager to read this one. I mean… It’s Mindy Kaling. She’s a genius and if you don’t know who she is, well, try watching The Office or The Mindy Project, I promise she’s awesome :)

Sweet Food and Photography (french edition)

Linda Lomelino is the talented girl behind the blog Call Me Cupcake. Her photography is amazing and her recipes always look incredible. I’m sure they also taste wonderful and I can’t wait to try something from the book, like a pie or pastéis de nata.

I think my readings are sorted for the end of the year. What about you? What's on your shelves waiting for you?
