What’s in my Weekend Bag

First, thank you so much for your kind words on my last post! I’m very happy you guys seem to love the new design, change is always a bit scary but it can do so much good at the same time.

Secondly, this isn’t really the kind of posts I’m used to do, but I love reading them so why not after all? Plus, we’ve had a long weekend here in France, the 14th of July being Bastille Day, and with the holiday season, I thought it would be fun to show you the content of my weekend bag (let’s be honest I could never go out on a week day with a bag as small as this one).

Another reason for me to write this post is the fact that I splurged on this bag in London, so now you know at least I bought something else than makeup (including books, clothes and home decor items)!

The Weekend Bag

My first Whistles bag. I fell in love with the simplicity of its design (black + gold details) and the leather is lovely. I just wish it was a tiny bit larger for my Kindle to fit into it.

I bought this one a few years ago when & Other Stories first opened in Paris, and it’s the perfect size for the weekend/holidays. No need to go around with a ton of loyalty cards.

iPhone 5S

This certainly is an essential nowadays so of course it’s coming with me.

Lip Balm

I can never go out without a lip balm as my lips tend to be dry all the time. This one from Burt’s Bees is one of my faves!

Transportation accessories

Using public transportation during the week, I try to avoid it in the weekend and take my car instead so car keys are a necessity. Otherwise I’m using my Navigo card, to take the bus or the underground.

Hair accessories

With the overpowering heat that’s been going on these days, hair ties and clips are a must-have.

Sanitary equipment

What a big word to say that it’s always good to not be out of tissues, and I like to carry around a compact mirror (this one’s from Clinique) and a hand sanitizer (not shown in picture).

What are your weekend essentials??
