During the last couple of months, I’ve been repurchasing and testing new beauty products. While I’m quite reasonable and try to avoid impulsive buyings, sometimes a little treat is just meant to happen.
First thing I bought, and this is absolutely due to me finishing Pretty Honest a while back, is the Laura Mercier Oil Free Foundation Primer. I chose the oil free version because I have sensitive skin and indeed it’s not greasy at all and sits well on top of my moisturizer.
Of course, I fell for the Zoeva Rose Gold brushes after wondering for a long time if I really needed them. I’m not gonna review them as there are billions of posts written on the subject on the Internet but yeah, I love them too!
On a day off, I found myself in a Sephora (completely random place haha – or not) and decided to give my hair a bit more attention. I bought the Bumble and bumble Seaweed Shampoo that Rebecca talked about on From Roses and chose to try the brand a little more by picking up the Thickening Spray as well. The shampoo I absolutely love. It leaves the hair shiny and the scent is quite fresh. The lasting effect of the spray on the other hand is not as obvious as it should in my opinion.
As we don’t have anything from Tarte here in France and as I was dying to try something from them, the lovely Brittany from Life, Set Sail kindly sent me this little blush in the shade Exposed all the way from Canada, and I couldn’t be more pleased by it. The color is subtle and beautiful at the same time.
And just when I thought it was gonna be the last of my purchases, my devoted Supercat liner started to show signs of fatigue (I’ve been using it almost everyday since last May – great deal this one!) so I decided to use my coupon for 25% off in Sephora again and came back with Make Up For Ever’s Graphic Liner. And a Clarins Lip Balm (shade Red), of course, why stop there? It’s very sheer and leaves a nice tint on the lips while being hydrating. I love it!
What do you think of these products? Have you tried them?
