Summer 2013 was a particularly hot one as I spent the holidays in Italy. It is always so damn hot when you spend your Summer visiting a city where there’s loads of traffic and no air at all.
I wanted to look back on this trip as I didn’t have the blog back then and I thought it would be such a waste not talking about the beauty of this trip.
We divided the trip in four stops so of course it’s not a complete tour of Italy but I think we did manage to catch some of that italian vibe.
Coming from Paris by car, first stop was Milan. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is absolutely stunning and the architecture lovely. And I can’t wait for the day I can treat myself with a plate full of different kinds of Mozzarella again at Obica.
I’d recommend going at another time of the year though, as the mosquito bites have been a huge deal (I counted approximately 30 mainly on my legs throughout the whole 3 weeks. Eek!).
