Every once in a while, I like to get a bit more personal and with the blog now turning 6 months (already??), I thought it was about time I talk a bit about myself. I already stated 10 facts about me and I’m going to complete that list by answering a few questions Charlie shared on her blog.
I’d very much like to know you a bit more because I sometimes recognize your name/picture when you comment but I know so little about you, so feel free to tell me how you’d have answered some of those questions!
Which movie (animation or not) marked your childhood the most?
I’m gonna cheat a little with that one (yep first question and I’m already adapting it haha) and talk about my teenage years. If there’s one film that I’m excited about every time it’s on TV and that I know every dialogue of, it’s gotta be Notting Hill. I know, cheesy. But this movie is EVERYTHING. And I do like chick flicks. And Hugh Grant. Those movies filled me with hopes and expectations during my teens and at the same time I think they ruined me.
Tell us about a book that changed the way you see the world.
I think I have to talk about Quiet here. It was recommended to me by Candice and it made me realize that being an introvert shouldn’t be a burden. It’s a characteristic trait that’s as valuable as being an extrovert, but in a totally different way. We have to make the most of what’s given to us and be proud of it.
What’s your greatest quality and your biggest flaw?
Being honest / Having very little confidence.
Where do you see yourself in ten years?
I hate that kind of questions because you never know what life is made of and what can happen. But hopefully I’ll have a home of my own and will be in a happy place (family and work wise).
Aside from the most famous social networks, list five websites that you visit everyday.
Surely my own blog (haha), Bloglovin’ (does that count as a social network?), Rebecca’s blog because it is THAT good, Betaseries (french website where I log every TV episode I watch) and Netvibes (aggregates some news feeds and social networks – cheating here again). But this basically sums it up.
Are you more of an introvert or an extrovert?
Like I said many times, introvert all the way.
Do you have a particular motto or philosophy you live by?
Stay true to yourself, respect others, and live by your standards while keeping an open mind.
Who’s your favorite artist (all arts considered)?
I don’t have any favorite artist in particular but let’s just say I like a bunch of actors and singers and that’s it.
Do you prefer to live in the city or in the country?
I’m definitely a city kind of girl. I’m bored too easily to live in the countryside + I hate all kinds of insects and things you find a lot more in there.
Which one of the 7 deadly sins are you the most guilty of?
Pretty sure it would be Sloth.
If you had to leave France, in which country would you rather live?
Probably the States.
